# Jama Maszid
Jama Masjid is the most popular and the biggest mosque in India which is located in Delhi. The Jama Masjid is situated in the old Delhi. It is located in front of the Red Fort crosswise to the road. This mosque was made between 1644 and 1658.

# Red Fort ( it is closed on Monday)
This is a very popular fort of the Delhi and it was made during the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan's reign, this royal building was made with the red sandstone. This is the place from where the Prime Minister of India addresses the country at Independence Day. At this place the Diwan-e-khas, and Diwan-e-am, the armaments museum and the sound and light show are all worth seeing at the Red Fort.

# Raj Ghat
raj ghat is the place which is made is the memory of the Father of Nation (BAPU JI), Raj Ghat is situated amidst a luxuriant garden. “Hey Ram’’ was the last word which came from his mouth is emblazoned on his monument in the golden letters. There are two Gandhi museums in the premises which is famous by the name of the Gandhi Memorial Museum and Gandhi Smriti Museum.

# Jantar Mantar
Jantar Mantar have total 13 architectural astronomy instruments, this place was made by the Maharaja Jai Singh II of Jaipur, after 1724 only. It is one of the five which were made by him. The main aim was accumulate exorbitant tables and for the prediction of the time and all the movements of the sun, moon and other planets too.

# Lakshmi Narayan Birla Temple
This temple is the modern temple which was made since 1938 by the great industrialist B.D. Birla. This temple was made for the worship of the Mahatma Gandhi.

# Indira Gandhi Memorial (closed on Monday)
Indira Gandhi Memorial Museum is the place where our former Prime Minister of India, Indira Gandhi lived. But after her murder, the bungalow was rehabilitated into a great museum.

# President House
Rashtrapati Bhawan was also popular by the name of the 'Viceroy's House' and this place was engaged by the Governor-General of India, until independence. And this place also popular by the name of the President's House, this building grasp a important place in New Delhi. There are 340 decorated rooms and a floor area of 200,000 square feet. This place is Designed by the British architect, Sir Edwin Lutyens, and this classical building uses colors and details peculiar to Indian architecture. This house was completedin 1929. And the inauguration done in 1931.

# Parliament House
The Parliament House of India is located in the northwestern side of the Vijay Chowk in the vicinity of the secretariat buildings. The parliament house marks governance of the world's largest democracy. The Parliament House of India has a central hall topped with a domed structure and three semi circular chambers. These chambers were initially assigned to house the council of state, legislative assembly and the chamber of princes.

# India Gate
India gate is located on Rajpath, in the center of the Delhi, it is 42-meter high arch. And india gate was designed by Edwin Lutyens, in memory of the Indian soldiers. For those soldies who has lost their life in the first World War. Here we can see the name of the soldies on the arch. There is a jyoti which is famous by the name of the Amar Jawan Jyoti, an everlasting flame, which is shines in the memory of the brave soldier, under the protection of the arch, and it is bordered by green lawns, fountains and water bodies also – this place is also very popular as picnic spot for all seasons.

# Qutab Minar
qutab minar was made during the sovereignty of Sultan Qutub-ud-din Aibak in 1199 A.D.,the height of this pillar is 72.5 m. and it is a symbol of the Delhi Sultanate. There is a ruins building Near this place which was the fort of Prithviraj Chauhan, and at this place we can see the iron pillar from Gupta times. And the quality of this pillar is that it is not rusted till the time.

# Lotus Temple (closed on Monday)
Lotus Temple is also very popular temple of the delhi. Which is the proof of the great architectures of the Bahai faith. This temple is located at the Kalkaji, which is nearer to the New Delhi. The temple has been assemble to be like a lotus flower. The huge lotus flower has been made out by the marble, dolomite, cement, and sand. There is no restrictions on the visitors and this temple is for the all religions.

# Akshardham Temple (closed on Monday)
Akshardham is the symbol of the indian traditional and Hindu culture, spirituality also. The compos is a big inner monument completely made of stone, showing on occurrence as of the life of Swaminarayan.
